Thank you, George.

I love to watch old shows on YouTube.  When I was a kid my Dad would watch the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and during the summer I would stay up and watch it with him.  One of my favorite comedians was George Gobel.  I loved his unassuming style and dry sense of humor.  Recently I was watching a clip from the Tonight Show with George as a guest.  He remarked something to the effect of "I'm a brown pair of shoes living in a tuxedo world."  That really resonated with me.

I've wanted to blog for quite a while.  I'm not sure if anyone will read it, but I guess it really doesn't matter.  Hopefully some views from my "brown shoe" world will be worthy of reading by a few.

About me - I'm a retired (semi) math teacher currently with 37 years of teaching.  I am married, have two daughters, one in post-secondary schooling, the other a senior in high school.

So here goes...thank you for following along.
